fool me once
The entire rock group, Magnapop, was fooled by the exploding maples NPR story while driving through Kansas. At least I figured it out a few days later.
All of this reminds me of something a great leader of ours once said:
“There’s an old saying in Tennessee — I know it’s in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can’t get fooled again.”

Welcome home!
We are in Tampa having my day and 1/2 of Spring Break after cleaning, packing and sorting Poppey’s house since the 4th with Bruce…moving van coming tomorrow night. Your Dad came down yesterday to get me and we are enjoying Tampa at the Marriott Waterside with a glorious day today. We are taking the trolley to Ybor city, a historic Spanish, Italian and German area of Tampa. They shut down one of the streets at night some what like New Orleans, lots of bars, live music etc. Should be a fun night and we can ride home on the trolley again for $3pp; such is the good life!
We will drive home tomorrow leaving at 8a.m. so will call en route or at home to catch up with your tour.
Love ya’,
Mom
