New Look
New look, new feel, new life. I’ve sold out to opensource blogging software. Yes, he who once brought you mad weblogging innovations like Autobloggertm, will now rely on the code of others. At least before hacking comes into play. I’m an old man now, and would rather sleep than tinker with custom weblog framework code. The site needed less overhead, and with years of piled up code, I needed to clean the slate. Not to mention wordpress offers all that, and pretty slick administration and features. Note that porting my old database to the wordpress schema was no simple matter.

Outstanding soldier, at ease. Are the book reviews back in action as well?
There’s a Japanese film blog called twitch with a similar ‘photo fade into content’ look that automaticly cycles through an image database with each reload. Not sure how it works but it would be sweet if the autoblogger ho would perform like that for you…..

Ah yes. The ol’ rotating masthead. I’m actually considering that. Just need to get enough cool images in the lottery and it’s easy to set up.

I’ll miss the left hand colum humor snipets as well. But change is good. RSS feed MUS to your tribe page etc etc.
